Join us for a tasting menu of delicious food and perfectly matched wines on the first Friday of each month. You'll enjoy a five course menu with a paired wine flight for £60pp with a wine flight of 4 wines to match your starter, fish course, main and dessert for £30pp Please note: This will be the only menu available on this evening. This is a set menu but we will be able to offer vegetarian options if requested in advance. Regrettably we cannot guarantee to cater to any other dietary requirement, however we may be able to amend a dish slightly to suit if this is mentioned at the time of booking (no later than 10 days before the event). No payment is required until you dine but credit card details are required to secure this booking and are subject to our cancellation policy. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a charge of £10 per person. Images are for illustrative purpose only.

Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. Please note: this is a reduced promotional menu and as such we cannot guarantee to be able to cater to all dietary requirements. 2 courses for £20 or 3 for £23. It’s available from 12 until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday and before 4pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly and is subject to availability, please go to our website or check social media for updates. First time at Hispi and myself and my partner overall had a lovely time. The staff, atmosphere, and general setting of the restaurant I thought were superb. It felt quite romantic and cosy. Bacon belly rib was tasty although the veg ribbons (I think they were courgette) needed a stronger pickle. They were very mild and got lost in the fattiness of the bacon. Cod main was again tasty but the only wet thing on the plate was a small blob of yellow raisin purée. For me it needed another sauce to loosen it up a little. I also felt the serving bowl was a little small and overloaded. It wasn't the prettiest plate I've ever seen with the large broccoli sprigs dominating everything. In short, nice food that I enjoyed eating but lacked a bit of polish around the edges.

This was our first experience of a Wine Night, and it won't be the last! Hispi exceeded our expectations yet again. The menu was so imaginative, and as always everything was freshly and expertly cooked. My partner particularly enjoyed the melt-in-the-mouth roasted corn-fed chicken breast, while my stand-out was the Jerusalem artichoke and Madeira soup which had the most incredible flavour and velvety texture. It was great to have the paired wines - there were four of these, and they all complemented the food perfectly. We were given just enough information about each one, explaining the choice and emphasising specific features. I'd single out the amazing Domaine J. Laurens, Limoux Methode Ancestrale, Languedoc that accompanied dessert - it was the most delicious sparkling wine I've ever tasted. There was a lovely, cosy atmosphere; we were served by three members of staff, all of whom were welcoming and friendly while being also entirely professional. There was never any sense of being rushed, and we were given opportunities to 'rest' before the next course. All in all a fabulous and memorable night out, and excellent value for the outstanding quality of the experience.

The food was delicious and service was good . My only criticism is I didn’t expect my Sunday roast to be served in a bowl making it difficult to eat. Surely a roast dinner should be served on a plate .

Excellent food. We had Sunday Lunch here, and the beef was melt in the mouth. The Crab fish cake starter to die for ( reminded me of eating in France). Would definitely recommend.

Great venue and service, ideal for a catch-up with friends. I knew the lunch menu was very limited, but we could have coped with this if the portions had been a reasonable size. The food was tasty but there was just not enough of it! A shame, because it was open on a Monday and was a bit different.
