So the place looks stunning but the real stars are the staff and particularly the mixologists. Just so talented. Paloma Faith - you know who you are and I think you might just be the best cocktail maker in Edinburgh. You made it special. I thought the prices were good too for cocktails in a venue like that.

Loved our evening at the House of Gods. Our servers were really friendly and the £5 cocktail well special was fantastic.

A cool interior and seriously stylish drinks menu make this a memorable venue in all the right ways. But the vibe is friendly, rather than too cool for school, and that elevates House of Gods even higher.

Staff were absolutely brilliant and so attentive! Cocktails were sensational and we were even given some complimentary shots which we greatly appreciated.

Went there because my friend had been in the Glasgow House of Gods outdoor bar and said it was amazing.. Edinburgh was so disappointing.. at the bottom on a hill in what looked like an office building.. we were greeted and told to sit right beside where check in desk is in what looked like an area you would wait to pick up your Chinese take away. It’s extremely small, very dark and very pretentious. Cocktails are overpriced, there are far too many staff with nothing to do. We were there at the weekend during the Fri ge and the small ‘bar area’ was empty. Do not waste your money. We left after 1 drink.
