il Bracco is an upscale Italian restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. Our menu features handmade pastas, fresh salads, hand-cut steaks & seafood, and an extensive yet approachable wine list.

Breads, pasta and dessert are made from scratch, in house daily.

Our dining room is made of intimate booths with a full service bar and cocktail lounge, as well as a quiet patio with an outdoor fire place.

Service was very good and the food was out standing. Would recommend asking the bartenders for wine recommendations. As my waitress was not knowledgable on the wine menu.

My Husband and I were there for lunch on the 15th, my husband wasn’t impressed with the food, he thiught for the prices the portions should have been more generous, we had the crispy artichoke m, I had the eggplant Parmesan which was good and my husband had the chicken sandwich and he stated that it was just okay..

The crispy artichoke stole the show. 10/10, recommend getting them. And thankfully the waitress recommended to add crispy chicken to the spicy gemelli - was the perfect addition!

Really good pasta, wine list and service. Probably in the 3 places in Houston for me to have pasta and drink Italian wine. Very reasonably priced.

Host, the delightful bartenders, Chloe and Ansel, food choices, ambiance, this is a perfect place. The cioppino was one of the best versions I’ve ever eaten.

What a horrible experience! This is a nice restaurant, don’t take me wrong. However, yesterday’s visit was absolutely horrible. The hostess was simply obnoxious, aggressive and wouldn’t cooperate with any of our requests. First of all, we were told to wait outside until all 5 of us are together. Then she declined our request for a patio seating, where there were still lots of open tables. Eventually a waitress took us there, but it took 20 min just to get there. Then we had to wait another hour and a half for the food to show up. We used to pop in to il Bracco often, especially for lunch, and it was nice. It’s sad to see a good place going down like this.
