Il Capriccio serves a constantly changing Northern Italian menu featuring local products with an award winning Italian wine and Grappa list. Though long considered a local secret, Il Capriccio has been the number one Northern Italian restaurant in Zagat's for the past seven years. The wine list has been featured in Decanter, Sante, Wine & Spirits and Stuff. The same menu is served in the Bar. We like to serve great food and great wine in a comfortable setting. For peace of mind in Covid time, our three brand new, state-of-the art, Mitsubishi air handlers employ MERV Level 13 filtration, just one step down from an operating theatre. We also have a patio for al fresco dining, reservable by phone only, weather dependent.

Il Capriccio offers a number of options for private parties. Our Lombardy and Romagna private dining rooms seat 10-14 guests each. Sicily semi-private dining room seats 34 and Tuscany seats 30; combined they seat 64. We normally reserve private parties in Sicily and Tuscany on weekday evenings only.

This is a very inconsistent restaurant as far as the food. My wife ordered the quail which was burnt and inedible. I ordered the halibut which was average, but a decent sauce. We have had some very good meals here, but now the bad has outweighed the good, and we will not return again.

Once our seating arrangements were rectified-originally seated in the lounge area, we had a delicious dinner. Our server was excellent.

Excellent time last night. The tuna tartare and lasagna bolognese apps were delicious. The Chicken schnitzel is amazing Great Wine selection Chuck and Denise

Another enjoyable experience this evening. Our dinner was delicious, and service exceptional. The desserts are over the top great! Don’t pass them up.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Linda was a pleasure. Quail was excellent! Porcini soufflé was outstanding. Great meal with our son, his wife and the in-laws - all getting along so well! Love family time like this!

What a wonderful experience from the minute we arrived and greeted by lovely Liz to our server Joan who was pleasant & attentive, Il Capriccio is a must. The food was delicious, flavorful & greater attention to detail. Definitely will be back!
