Now offering daily a 3 Course pre-fixed EARLY BIRD menu for $39.00 from 4-6PM. This menu is also available for Takeout. We are also doing free delivery within a ONE mile radius of the restaurant.

“Girasole” stands for sunflower in Italian. A flower that grows in abundance in fields all across 4 different provinces in northern Italy. A classic northern Italian trattoria with daily fresh ingredients & house made pasta dishes served w/ stellar service & exceptional wine & specialty drinks. Providing our guests the best in Italian cuisine we have to offer with a combination of 50 years of experience.                                                                   The experience started with us not being seated until 45 min after our reservation time. This is a very tight space to waiting that long was not a great start to the experience. The drinks and food were both very good however we felt like the service at the table could have been a little better, water wasn’t regularly refilled as well as drinks.

                                                                  The food is very good. I did not like the fact that the waiter rushed us to put in our dinner order on a Saturday night. The noise level was extremely loud.

                                                                  Food was good! The eggplant appetizer was delicious and so was the Lobster Gnocchi! The main downside was the table. We were sat at a table right by the door, so there was a bit of a draft for both sides of it. But the main problem was guests waiting for tables congregate there and kept bumping into my partner throughout the meal. Also, with myself seated, I completed blocked the ability of the person at the table behind of of getting out. So I had to get up for them to get out to use the restroom etc. I understand having ample tables for guests but I think that table could be removed for better enjoyment of everyone involved.

                                                                  AMAZING!! I very rarely complete a review. In this case, I JUMPED at the opportunity! The pasta and lamb were outstanding, and the baked calamari appetizer was to die for, especially loved the red sauce! We had a chance to meet the owner, Christopher, who couldn’t have been more pleased that we REALLY enjoyed our experience. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY OUR NEW GO TO RESTAURANT IN THE LOGAN SQUARE AREA, IF NOT FAVORITE RESTAURANT IN CHICAGO!

                                                                  The owner greeted and checked on us. Pleasant, efficient server worked with the kitchen to modify dishes as needed. Wide variety of menu options, plentiful portions, nice presentation, and delicious food ( the veal scallopini was not as good as the other items we ordered.)
