   We were so delighted to be able to dine in the bar room. It was just the 3 of us and quiet, which made it really nice to have conversation throughout our dinner. So many restaurants pipe in music and the noise level is untenable. What a treat! BTW, the food was outstanding. I recommend the lamb shank.

   We go to Il Tagamino every time we are in Carmel. We love the food, location and the people who work there. Thanks again for another great evening!

   Overall great we love coming here on our trips to Carmel. This time around we felt a bit rushed by serves and Bussers to clear our plates. Granted, they were busy but it still didn’t feel great.

   A quaint restaurant that served very good meal in a timely fashion. Enjoyed my experience. Went with several couples and all shared a main course which was plenty for 2. Add a salad and a shared desert, a really good meal with friends.

   This was the first restaurant we visited while on our travels years ago. We decided to come back to Carmel for my birthday this year and Il Tegemino never fails to impress us with their consistency. We had the beet salad, I had the fish of the day which was beautifully and deliciously prepared and my husband had the ragu. Both excellent. We finished the meal with the Tiramisu. Highly recommend Il Tegemino.

   A very good dining experience, really pricey but quality taste in the main dishes, kinda disappointed the caprese salad was really small for the price. But good service and overall vibe

   Service was great but we did not enjoy the food. The meat in the mushroom manicotti was too tough. The oso buco was too gamy and the lava cake was overcooked and when we told the waiter it wasn’t a lava cake he said oh they over cooked it. And that was that.

   Delicious food, outstanding staff & comfortable seating outside with heaters. Only complaint was the pescatore portions seemed smaller than previous servings.
