We have been to Il Villaggio Restaurant & Bar many times, which is why we decided to go on Thanksgiving. The food has always been amazing, the staff attentive and the atmosphere just right. However on this visit we were totally disappointed. The whole experience was lacking. The staff tried, but it was obvious they were understaffed. Our waiter really tried, but we felt forgotten, an afterthought really. We ordered the prefix turkey dinner and the appetizers were the only part of the meal that was cooked correctly. I had the sweet potato ravioli and my husband had the broccoli rabe and sausage. We were hopeful after the appetizers, even though there were only 3 ravioli and my husband's plate looked like a full dinner. We both decided on the turkey dinner, because it was Thanksgiving. The turkey was hard, like it had been sitting and got dried out and heated back up or sat under a heat lamp for to long. The carrots were not cooked all the way, crunchy. The stuffing was bland and the cranberry sauce was lacking somehow. We figured they couldn't mess up desserts right? Wrong. My husband got the creme brulee cheesecake, the crust was raw in sections and we were told it should be room temperature. It was cold in parts and warm in others. I picked the pumpkin panacotta and while it looked ok nice on the outside, it tasted like curdled milk and when I cut into it, it looked like cottage cheese. Needless to say after one bite, I didn't eat any more of it. I felt bad for our waiter by the end of the night, even though I though he forgot about us, but it was because he was so busy. He must have apologized to us about our food and the service every time he was at our table. Sadly, a diner probably would have been better. On the way home., we both started feeling sick to our stomachs. We were both very disappointed in our experience. This visit may have been our last. It's a shame, because we loved going to Il Villaggio.

A wonderful and beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent and the staff was one of the best ever. The staff was amazing as they were extremely professional and efficient. They were sharp, fit, attentive, genuine, appropriate, helpful, caring, and dressed professionally. I haven’t seen this level of professionalism in a USA restaurant in many years. A truly unique and welcome experience.

Food and service was good and would go back. Our chicken Parmesan came with carrots and sweet potatoes instead of pasta. No whipped potatoes with Turkey dinner.

Our waiter and the food were great. On very busy nights they do absolutely no substitutions on their menu. Even changing a salad dressing on their wedge salad. 👎

The restaurant ambience was very nice. Our entrees were very good. All the extras were al a carte. The chicken parm did not come with pasta. Their reasoning was not everyone wants pasta. But for an additional $6 not worth it. At the most should be $2. The wedge salad was pretty lame as well. Dessert was delicious and the cappuccino as well.

As always, the meal and service were exceptional. We were there with family and had a cozy table in the corner near the fireplace. We enjoyed a leisurely meal with great atmosphere and wonderful service

Our food was delicious but our service was awful. There was a table next to us who got their food all in a timely manner but we waited 20 min just for soup and soda.
