Imad Alarnab was a successful restaurateur in Damascus with three restaurants, plus several juice bars and cafes. In the war, Imad's restaurants were destroyed and he was forced to flee the country in search of safety for his family. Making his way from Lebanon through Europe, Imad shared his skills cooking for other refugees, up to 400 at a time, and found even in the most challenging times, his passion for food and bringing people together to celebrate life was strong.

Second time going to Imad’s and absolutely loved it. Tatsy food, great atmosphere delicious cocktails.

Food was nice but it was very expensive for what it was. I think there are lots of other similar cuisine restaurants for half the price. If you book, request a table not in the walkway as you spend your whole meal with people hitting your chair

The food was absolutely faultless! I've been wanting to come to eat at Imad's for a while and it honestly exceeded my expectations so much. Fresh, delicious and an absolute abundance of vegan options to choose from which was so appreciated. The food was served so quickly yet we didn't feel rushed at all and great value for money. I can't wait to come back in the future!

First time at this place and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were very attentive and polite, door super tasty and on time and the music was excellent. Noise level kept to minimal allowing you to converse without loosing your voice whilst wth if music was playing at the background. Mixalis the manager was very polite not only towards us but also to his staff. They really take pride in their work and make customers feel very welcome.

We ordered meze based on what we saw the table next to us eating, it looked amazing and when it arrived it tasted amazing too. Nice large portions, we had 4 plates and couldn't finish it by the end. With a glass of lovely wine too it only came to £30pp. Very impressed!

Food service was very quick and every mezze we ordered was delicious. Wine was very nice too. We had the table for 1.30 minutes until 8.30pm by 8.05 we had finished the food but we were still drinking the wine and the bill was brought, the waitress said you still have 25 mins. But then we had three waiters coming with the card machine asking us to pay . I feel a bit rushed and we hadn't even finished the wine and then we left at 8.20pm.

This was our first time at Imad's. We arrived earlier than our booking, and we were warmly welcomed, and seated at the bar until our table was ready. My partner and I shared the sarnoaa and a shish tawook, which were both delicious. I had the pale ale which was really tasty. We had a dip for starter, which was also delicious, but we regretted it as the main course was very generous. The only minor problem is that the place is so popular and vibrant that it we had to speak really loudly to be heard! Would definitely go again.

Absolutely delicious food with a middle-eastern flavour. Food well-presented and served promptly. Most of the menu available gluten-free and management very allergy-aware. Service slightly disappointing as server seemed very unsure.
