   Visiting Birmingham for first time we wanted to try the local cuisine. Did a little research online and found the Indian Cafe Racer. Described as the “best Indian food in Birmingham”. It wasn’t that far so we gave it a try. The setting is remarkable. A quintessentially English pub that some might think twice about entering. Within you’ll find the restaurant behind a curtain toward the back of the pub. The food was sublime. The staff attentive and the atmosphere like no other Indian restaurant we’ve eaten in before. Definitely going back to Brum to go there again.

   In the rear of an unassuming pub, but don't be fooled by the exterior, the food is the star of the show. It's all delicious and the staff were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Definitely worth a visit.

   Indian Cafe Racer is great little hidden treasure. The food is fantastic, the service was outstanding with extremely helpful and friendly staff who made sure that we had the best experience and good recommendations. It's a great place to eat, and for this occasion was in a very good proximity to the O2 Academy. I will definitely be visiting again to try some of the other tapas style starters and more of the delights on the menu. Recommended.

   Great restaurant, great service and amazing food. It was something quite different to the Indian restaurants we are used to which really made the experience even better. Loved it.

   Excellent food, service is always great and it’s a lovely setting. 10/10 would recommend. If you’re an Independent Birmingham member make sure to use your card for a 10% discount!

   Outstanding food and service. We were a table of 9, everything was covered in terms of talking through options, menu choice. Staff were amazingly attentive and food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

   Amazing food, really lovely staff!! And what a location…. Tucked away in the back of a Guy Richie style pub, you’ll find this culinary delight! Just super….I genuinely can’t wait to go again, soon!

   Excellent experience as always with my daughter after her first GCSE exam. Back on Saturday with my team from work. Can’t praise the staff enough. If you haven’t tried it yet you should. You won’t be disappointed.

    Really really good authentic Indian cuisine, served in a laid back atmosphere of a pub with very attentive and helpful staff. Loved it.
