Varied menu, plant based options good, lighting bit low to read menu. Make sure bill is correct, extra side orders were logged erroneously on ours.

Lovely venue with amazing ambiance for both dates and work. The staff were extremely helpful, attentive and kind. They really made it a pleasurable experience and each staff member I encountered made me feel welcomed. The food is also really nice with a wonderful drink selection.

The food was ok! We were the only ones in the restaurant at 5:30pm and yet our food took nearly an hour. The cucumber salad was a bowl of cut up cucumber - nothing more! I had to request dressing. We were also served cold chicken! Place is beautiful but the food was not worth the price! Grab a burger from the standard next door instead!

Very nice vibe to the place, the staff lovely though the service a bit slow (possibly due to the timing of our meal which was mid-afternoon); the food was great; the wine list very highly priced with no options for cheaper lines or house carafes etc. Overall though a really nice place, a great venue for the area.

Food was lovely as were the drinks. My favourite thing about the place was the music - it was different and unique and created a particular vibe.

A lovely meal, we had no wine, service was good but felt the bill was more than expected, considering we’d had no alcohol.

I didn’t think the food was that interesting for the price we paid. £100 for a bland chicken breast, a fish fillet and some fries and two bottles of sparkling water seems pretty outlandish. The staff forgot our order of fries and wouldn’t pass the table to see if we needed anything. The restaurant was pretty empty as well, so it’s not as if they were rushed off their feet. I don’t recommend.

Service was extremely poor. I called an hour before to ask for cocktails in the bar and they assured me the library bar was available. Surprise, surprise when I got there, no seats available. Then got seated in the entrance (nobody should be sat there) and would rather be seated near the kitchen. I asked for a another table, and waiter said no, regardless other tables remained empty until I left. Waiters badly trained. Asked for a bottle of water when I asked for our cocktails. then ordered dinner, and wine. I ask 4 times for the water. I had drunk half bottle of wine by the time it came. My cocktail glass stayed in the table - even if I asked for it to be removed twice. Waiter hits the bottle of wine in the table and in the glasses whilst serving. food almost cold. chicken, really disappointing. Tuna tartar tasty but portion extremely small. I really don't get it. more over because service upstairs is MUCH better. I know Isla is more easy going restaurant. But somethings are just wrong.
