Italica is a unique, intimate hidden bar/restaurant with outstanding Italian cuisine. Our dishes are served tapas style and are meant to be combined and shared with others in your party. We have several dishes on and off our menu that are vegetarian and vegan friendly. Enter through the silver door on Miles Avenue to the right of Indio Taphouse.

Due to our limited capacity, reservations are required for dinner service. However, we welcome walk-ins at the bar, based on availability, and encourage late-night walk-ins to join us when possible.

To ensure that all our guests can savor our exquisite offerings, we allocate a 90-minute dining time for all parties.

Please note that Italica is an adults-only establishment. We kindly ask that our guests be above the age of 18 and are dressed appropriately.

Space is intimate and charming, loved the feel. I know it will be impossible to get a reservation very soon. Charcuterie was wonderful with a little infused smoke to start. Pasta was good especially the bolognese. Looking forward to going back.

Had dinner at the bar, there were 5 of us,, will definitely book in advance next time to ensure we get a table.. Food was quite good,,the bathrooms are a hoot.. will definitely book go back

Second time we've been and it was fabulous again!!! Get a reservation!! The word is getting out about this hidden gem!!

The pre-Thanksgiving, prix fixe menu was good. Most of the food was perfectly cooked. The butternut squash soup was AMAZING. The salads were super good, mine being quite unique with a goat cheese-beet spread smeared on the bottom of the bowl. My partner had the prime rib which was perfectly cooked, but a bit bland. I had the Branzino which was PERFECT. Melted in your mouth. The pies themselves were good, but the crust was kind of awful. Very floury. The only real complaint I had was the price of the drinks, I know we chose a higher end whiskey, but not THAT higher end - $36/ea for an old fashioned was a lot!! Either way, I’d go again. Looking forward to trying their Italian food!

Very cool vibe , loved the ambience , and food was delicious . Small portions and hard to share ! Artichoke not so good and very small but all the other dishes Shrimp, penne vodka, chicken were delicious!!! Enjoyed the evening !!! And downtown Indio is really going in the right direction !!!!

The foods is always great, the service was not quite as good as normal although we had our normal server. She was good but not outstanding as usual

We ordered: Artichoke and Calamari appetizers. Pasta putanesca and Penne ala vodka. Tiramisu. All were delicious!

Food and drinks were exceptional. Great ambience but as a speakeasy it might be a bit smaller than you envision. Not an issue with me at all, just a comment. The only negative would be the bartenders. Good group of young people with good attitudes, but we had to ask EVERY time we wanted something (1st drink, 2nd, appetizer, meal). They were a bit too busy talking amongst themselves. We will be back!
