A new chapter in lakeside dining unfolds at Aurora on the Lake. Set on the shores of Union Lake, we bring together authentic Italian cuisine with an elevated steakhouse experience. We enjoyed the previous business and found the new restaurant as well. We look forward to enjoying the lake view in the summer. I didn't order a pasta, but the next table got one that looked fab. I didn't see a filled pasta but I expect to by then.

First of all the menu on here is not the menu at the restaurant. A bait and switch that the manager couldn’t explain or really care about. In fact. They showed little concern at all about anything. The service was rushed. We had to tell the staff to not clear dishes at least 5 times. The scampi was awful and sour. Extra charges for everything. And again the manager didn’t really care. We won’t go back. Maybe he will care when there is no business.

Food was authentic and delicious and a level up from Its a Matter of Taste. Aurora will be a great addition to the restaurants in the area.

We sat for 25 minutes until someone came and got our drinks. I had to get up and find somebody. After dinner, our waitress went missing for 20 minutes until they came to clear the table, we barely had any water cause nobody was filling it for us. Very slow service

Made a last minute reservation and glad I did! Sadie was our server. I read from previous reviews reviews how fantastic she was, and she did not disappoint! She made recommendations for drinks and appetizers as well as entrees. Everything was prompt and delicious, as well as the attention to detail from Sadie. We needed another restaurant in our area in this price point. We will be back!

First time at On The Lake… Numerous time at original location Numerous issues… If you are askin’… I’ll tell you… It was a special occasion… My 75th birthday. When we arrived… Our reserved table was not available to us. ??? We were seated at a booth… I asked for a table… We were told there were none ??? After waiting 10 minutes, our server approached us. Edward was great. Food was good but not great. My wife ordered the Grouper special that was Super Salty and was redone. The re-do was very good… But I was done eating before my wife’s was brought to the table. My dessert was comp’d for which I was appreciative. I recognize the place might have been having some opening month “jitters”. If this was my first time at Aurora, I likely would not return. But I know you all can do better. My 75th birthday was not so special. Sorry Bill

The food and drinks were only average. Our waitress was friendly and helpful but the food was overpriced and not good.

Two people ordered steak, MR, one was good the other was more on the rare side. Sent it back to just heat up a little. The steak came back on an extremely hot plate with the oil splashing and the steak crispy on the out side and extremely well done. Uneatable!!! Just awful!!! Brought it to the waiters attention and he said ‘we don’t comp dinners. I could offer you a free desert’. Oh, thanks, a free dessert. I just wanted a steak cooked to order. I never even asked for the meal to be comped. Manager never came over. I NEVER write a bad review but this was very disappointing.

Great ambience while waiting for table at the bar. Great cocktails. Sat in main dining area and had a great server. Music was fantastic for the place/time (Sinatra and other great singers). Food was delicious. Great appetizers and entrees. Manager/owner stopped by to say hello and let us know this is just the beginning. More/improved chamges to come for the summer this year. Can't wait to go back.
