***A Deposit of £10 per person is required upon booking. You will be dining from our three-course menu for £85 per person. Roll up, Roll up, The Ivy Circus will be taking over our iconic venues this New Year's Eve. Great addition to Canterbury choice of restaurants. Service very good, food good but portions on the small size. Can’t help feeling it’s a bit overpriced, but that describes a lot of restaurants these days.

Lovely afternoon spent at the Ivy in Canterbury, brand new but holds all the charm you expect… service team did a great job and the food was excellent. Will return for sure…

Beautiful meal and Edna our waitress was lovely and attentive . It was very loud and more like a club atmosphere mainly because a few loud groups. It main thing which caused a problem was the air conditioning was so so cold we did ask them about it but nothing was done. Probably the vents need to be repositioned as it’s a new restaurant. Otherwise food was very good.

We arrived at the restaurant for an anniversary meal about ten minutes before our booking time. Understandably we were asked to wait at the bar which we duly did. As our table time came and went we assumed, as it was busy, the restaurant was running a bit behind. Half an hour after our booked slot we asked the barman when we might be seated. He disappeared for a while, came back and told us that there had been an issue with the reservation system and that they were trying to find a us table. We left and had a very nice meal at Côte Brasserie opposite. Totally unacceptable and incredibly poor service.

Excellent service, food was good but nothing amazing about it . Very busy as you would expect in the run up to Christmas, staff were going very well . Very very noisy as it was so busy.

Lovely food, great atmosphere, and wonderful staff. Whole experience was very enjoyable. Highly recommend the Canterbury Ivy

Perfect evening - almost! Food, service and the ambience were outstanding - however, both my friend and I tripped on a small step near our table. It had a lighting strip but I feel more is needed to make it safe. Apart from that it was an outstanding evening and staff were the best part - apart from the delicious food!

Welcoming, warm on a freezing cold day, excellent staff from cloakroom to front of house. Attentive, but not overbearing. Made us feel very special. Food appealed to all 4 of us and was enjoyed. Relaxing, not rushed. Overall, a great experience and can’t wait to go back.
