This was our first time dining at J & M and it was fantastic!! We had heard about it from others and finally had the opportunity to try it for ourselves and it did not disappoint. From the wonderful hand-crafted cocktails to the hamachi crudo starter it dazzled. Our entrees of lamb and salmon were cooked perfectly, creative and bursting with outstanding flavors. Definitely a missed hot spot and we look forward to our next visit.

Another fabulous dinner at James and Main. The owners and the staff are amazing. Maricurz our server was professional, knowledgeable and personable. We treated ourselves to the Porterhouse for 2. Absolutely delicious. Honestly it was better than Jimmy Hayes and Peter Lugers.

Everything was amazing from food to drinks to service. Atmosphere is also wonderful. Can't wait to go back again.

It was nice to go to a more upscale restaurant in town. The food was good and the wait staff was terrific. The drinks were a little light on the poor.My biggest negative was that it was freezing at the table where we were seated. We should have asked for a different table but we did not. It was a cold night outside and it was cold sitting by the window.

Our first time at James and Main and we can’t wait to go back. The food and service was outstanding. The ambiance was amazing. We say outside on a covered and heated tent and it was super comfortable. The cocktails were amazing especially for a picky drinker like myself. We had the mussels and deviled eggs to start which were out of this world and then had the strip steak and fish stew special. Our waitress was great.

We ate in the bar due to a private party in the dining room. Large group at bar spilling into our dinner table. That was annoying. Food and service great but if you want better ambience don’t eat at bar unless have a booth.

Our evening at James & Main was incredible, a perfect date for our end of the week. The ambience is stunning, and the food tops even that! We started with their homemade Italian sodas (dry January!) which were delicious, the Main Street salad, and the beef tartar. All the appetizers were great but the star goes to the salad which was a blend of flavors such that each bite was differently amazing. For dinner we had the lasagna nonna (perfect sauce!) and the grilled pork chop over polenta. Both stole the show but the grilled pork chop won me over with its sauce! We finished with the bread pudding for dessert which was honestly the best I’ve had in YEARS. The food was fantastic, but I would be remiss to say that our server Christie made this into a five star experience. She was perfectly attentive, offering great suggestions on what we might like without being overbearing during our meal. When each course came out she appeared with things we didn’t even know we needed (extra sharing spoons, more bread for the sauces)! We can’t wait to go back!!
