Always good to make a reservation at busy times. Got seated right away when we arrived. Good service and enjoyed the food.

Service was very efficient and friendly. Our appetizers were delicious but our steak was mediocre at best. Could barely cut into it and although having asked for medium rare it was rare and full of gristle. We were compensated with a drink but would have been nice to have the steak compensated.

It's impossible to choose your meal at Joey - everything is amazing. I struggle to go with my favourites or go with something new on the menu. Service as always is impeccable. Ambiance is first rate!

We received a gift card from a family member for $100 USD as a Christmas Present and were excited about enjoying a meal at this restaurant. We went and everything initially about the restaurant was very enjoyable. The food was very good, the service was attentive and we enjoyed our experience until the cheque arrived. When we we presented the gift card (electronically) our server went to speak with a ⁶manager and then returned to inform us that the $100 USD would be honoured in Canadian dollars. $100 USD is worth $144.50 Canadian dollars according to google when checked today. We paid the bill and tipped the service team 22% and left after effectively having $44.50 taken from us and our family member in what felt like to us, theft by conversion. The manager in question did not come to follow up after our expressing our disappointment JOEY's is already a very expensive restaurant. Further, the gift card information indicates that Joey's has US based restaurants. I'm quite sure that Canadian dollar gift cards are not accepted at par in the US. This ruined for us, what was otherwise a positive experience, through what felt like to us, an act of corporate greed and impersonal profiteering. After this experience we will not be back and sadly, I cannot recommend JOEY's as a place for anyone else to dine at.

I have reently had to be on a very low salt and potassium diet. Wanted to take family out for a meal and so many places just didnt prepare their food this way. Anyway we decided to try Joey and the roasted cod looked possible. It was and also just delicious.! The service was also great. Will be back soon!
