The food is amazing. Only exception was for the desserts as they had very small portions not a lot for your money. When booking the reservation it was my wife’s birthday and when booking the reservation it asked if this was a special occasion as I stated it was her birthday. No one said a word and no free dessert for her. If you’re going to do anything with that information, then don’t ask.

We went to Johnny's during Denver restaurant week. We chose it because we liked the menu offered. We chose classic options: bruschetta, Caesar salad, steak and shrimp with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Everything was very tasty and cooked perfectly. The service was very good. Angel, our server, was great. And the timing of all the service was just right.

First, let me say we were looking forward to having a very nice dinner here. But that is not what happened, we were sat in area that really didn’t seem part of the restaurant, we ended up in a booth where we froze, had to ask the server about it and all he did was close the curtains to a larger door opening, you could see how much air was coming through as the curtains were billowing out towards us, as for the food, disappointed, crusted Parmesan should not be oily to the point of making the steak taste bad, not sure what they did to the Brussels sprouts, but couldn’t eat them. The only decent thing was the server, he was very polite.
