   Food and service were both of a very high standard. The tasting menu is to be recommended. A happy background buzz of chatter without any noise to interrupt conversation; a big plus compared with many hard surfaced restaurants. On a warm evening the 16th floor roof top bar added to the special and very enjoyable evening.

   Had the tasting menu which was delicious. Service was great and we had a superb view.

   The overall experience was very good. Modern and minimal ambient, nice and welcoming smiles at the reception that lead us to our table, we had an allocated waiter to serve our table very friendly also the sommelier was very helpful when choosing the wines. We had the Txuleton steak very decent portion to share and patatas bravas. Also the bacalhau a bras which was good, nothing out of this world but was very well presented. Desserts were tasty we tried the chocolate mousse that came with some ice cream and some orange sauce to mix which was good also the caramelized brioche which was my favorite. Will come back again.

   If you are Portuguese and want to try Jóia I wouldn’t advise as for what you pay, it was really underwhelming. The Arroz de Marisco ( Sea food rice) didn’t event taste as seafood and left a horrible aftertaste. Expected better from a restaurant from Henrique Sa Pessoa , was really disappointed. Praise to the Portuguese staff member (sorry forgot the name) in charge of the wines as he was always very attentive to our table

   Great food lovely atmosphere, waitress was nice but did mix up the food many times which was a bit comical

   Loved the food, the arros de mariscos was packed with sea flavour and the xuleton was one of the best steaks I tried in London. The service was very friendly and I loved the explanations about the wines we tried. Piero was really welcoming and made us feel very special. Loved the little cake treat for my birthday too which was the cherry on top of the cake for our evening at Joia.

   Great experience at this restaurant. Our waiter, Gordon was excellent, the food was delicious, the ambiance was great and the only snag was no decaffeinated coffee ….

   The lamb dish was served cold and unseasoned. The cauliflower dish was cold and undercooked.

    Great venue, food and drink tremendous, but unfortunately we had the tasting menu, which was amazing and perfectly cooked but the sirloin steak which was the main was tough as old boots beautifully cooked and under stand it can happen but I’ve had better steak in subway! 🙄
