The restaurant, known as the JULEP KITCHEN, features New American cuisine with a decidedly Southern Twist. The kitchen focuses on seasonal cooking with high-quality, fresh ingredients.

The JULEP BAR is home to a grand selection of wines and champagnes, locally crafted beer and creatively constructed cocktails with a favorite and classic, the Mint Julep, taking the front seat.

                Normally better , our waitress seemed to be taking care of 4 older people next to us . We saw her once after getting food. My wife’s salad was 90% greens and 5% things on it and 5% dressing. My pasta was ok .. expensive for what we got .. filet is $60 in case you are wondering. Felt rushed ..

                I adore the ambiance of Julep Farm - it's an unusually beautiful spot with its farm areas, exquisite dining room and bar, and charming gift shop. I have always found the service to be hit or miss. On this trip, we arrived earlier than the crowd, I believe there were 3-4 other tables seated when we ordered our drinks. It still took 15 minutes to get 2 drinks from the bar and the winter margarita was just pure tequila - it was not a good flavor. Usually, I find their seasonal cocktails to be tasty. We ordered an appetizer, salads, and entrees. They all arrived together after a long wait. It would have been nice to get the simple appetizer (olives and bread) quickly and before our salads and certainly before our main dishes. I feel there is a lack of training since they seem to go through employees quickly. I had though about throwing an upcoming party there, but I'm afraid I'd leave having overpaid for the quality of service. I've never seen the same waiters there twice. I really wish the managers/owner would get things more organized... this venue could be the star of North Georgia.

                Great atmosphere, but food was just not flavorful. Was disappointed thought maybe the dessert buffet would be better, but that was just as bad. Paid a lot of money to eat there and never went back for a second plate. My daughter didn’t even finish half her plate. I think that the menu was probably not tested before it was executed.

                The prime rib was very bland, the rolls were really hard. Not a $330 meal for 3 for sure. For the price, there should have been a complimentary glass of wine or something. Very unimpressed with the whole experience on Thanksgiving.

                Julep Farms was LOVELY! Exceeded our expectations! Brought 11 year olds and 8 year old boys and they were so happy! We cannot wait to return!

                This review is for the restaurant - not the cottages. My husband and I had dinner at Julep Kitchen and were disappointed in the service and food. It was not overly crowded, yet we had to wait for every single thing - at times we thought our server had left the property it took so long for him to return. I ordered a glass of wine that never came, we got our bill and mentioned that it never came so they said they would take it off the bill. Then the drink came (sigh). The food was just ok. Not many choices for pescatarians or vegetarians. All the dishes were pretty bland and uninventive. Cocktails were weak (pictured is the seasonal special - a mistletoe margarita - which was beautiful but not sure it had any alcohol in it). Husband's martini wasn't crafted correctly. On the positive side, Julep Farms is a beautiful property - we did not stay there but the cottages and the grounds look lovely. The market is a great place to shop for clothes, candles, kitchen items, and gifts. Excellent quality and brands and reasonable prices.

                Always an excellent experience salt this gem nestled in the beautiful Dillard GA mountains. Food is excellent and the facility is equally gorgeous.

                The atmosphere at Julep Farm was amazing...soothing and comforting, and service was amazing. My server Melissa and bartender Brice went above and beyond, patiently answering all my inquiries and making every effort to accommodate my requests (quote from Melissa when I asked if I could get a side Caeser salad not on the menu: I can make it happen, I work for you! :)). The trout was seasoned to perfection and my cocktail was delicious and crafted with care. I can't wait to go back on Thanksgiving and taste all of their amazing dishes on the buffet! This is my new favorite restaurant.

                What a charming and fun experience we had at Julep Farms and Restaurant! The ambience and scenery were wonderful, the food delicious and customer service was exceptional. And the cherry on top was the farm with all the animals to entertain our little 2 yr old grandson! Wonderful evening - highly recommend!
