Could’ve played some more romantic music for Valentine’s. However I left my wallet behind and staff were honest about it, so thank you for that. Food was very good for the most part, the octopus breading was a bit bland which was unfortunate for my girlfriend who could not stomach the cilantro (L genetics) sauce. I would highly recommend the lamb, so tender. And the cauliflower, pickled date, arugula (I think) combo was mind-blowing. The interior is very nice on the eyes, if it weren’t such a special night the ambiance would be perfect.

5/6 dishes were really good, and they just kept getting better and better when the server brought them. But their dessert was a DARK chocolate mousse and was extremely bitter. We had ordered it thinking it was milk or maybe milk chocolate that was richer, but no where did it say DARK chocolate. It should have a warning on the menu. It’s paired with a small amount of 2 large buckwheat crackers, mascarpone and salted carmel, but still not enough for the amount of dark chocolate.

Another Exceptional food beverage and service experience. One of my all time favorite restaurants in Calgary. If you’ve never been … start the car make the booking and enjoy every delicious bite. Special thanks to Jess, Noah and Javon for making our experience extra special.

Ate here for the first time on Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend and we were SO impressed!! Incredible food with a very personable bartender, we ordered 8 small plates and ended up ordering the gnocchi again to go because we loved it so much. I will reccomend Kama to absolutely everyone and we will be back very soon. Thankyou so much to everyone!!

The space is gorgeous, you can tell how much love and attention was poured into the details of designing this space. The cocktails were delicious and well crafted, our server was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Was a little underwhelmed by the food, so would definitely come back for drinks and a light snack, not so much for a whole dinner, just for me personally.

The wine selection recommended to us was absolutely fantastic and paired beautifully with our meal. Our server was incredibly attentive, offering thoughtful suggestions that made for a wonderful shared dining experience. The dishes were flavorful, well-presented, and perfect for enjoying with good company. Beyond the food and drinks, the atmosphere at KAMA is just stunning. The restaurant has a warm, inviting vibe that makes you want to stay and savor every moment. We love that it is locally owned. We will definitely be back with friends to enjoy this gem again! Highly recommend.

From the atmosphere, to the service, to the drinks, and the food. Everything was incredible. The hosts and servers went above and beyond to make sure our time there was a great experience. Everyone had great knowledge on what they were serving. They knew the menu, they tried the menu, and that’s so important. We’ll be back again!

Our food & service were quite good, however our overall experience was hampered by 3 men at bar who had been drinking for a while and were loud & foul mouthed.
