Food is nice, quite authentic, atmosphere is nice. Yet maybe the day we went was valentine's day and restaurant is much busier than usual. When we do the ordering, the waiter suggest us to order more as we would only have 1 time of ordering chance. (hearing this is actually quite odd) Then we took the suggestion and add more food to the order, finally the additional sushi roll added was missed, the lady manager nicely apologized, we accepted and decided just leave it at last. When we pay the bill the waiter/server's attitude is definitely not nice, understand that customers are flooding in, everyone is so busy. But to define whether a restaurant is good or not, food and service are equally important. To be frank, good service can actually make up to not so nice food, but good food might not work well if the service is not good. Hope Kazu can improve and wish them good business in the future.

Unfortunately our meal ticket was lost within the kitchen and only received half the dishes before we had to begin questioning with staff. When addressing the point, there was no sympathy and said “we are extremely busy”. There was no gesture of goodwill made to redeem this negative experience. It is a shame as the food was delicious and I was willing to recommend this restaurant. However I will not do so based on the service.

Excellent overall. We (table for two) chose the large sashimi set, which was tailored to our preferences (no octopus, thanks). Lovely, tasty, reasonable sized slices of sashimi, well presented, served in good time with the usual soy and wasabi condiments. We followed up with two plates of gyozo - four pieces on each plate, one set chicken, one vegetable, served with a vinegary sauce, delicious and altogether very satisfying. All food on display and the japanese chef/artist allowed me a satisfyingly stern bow on my departure. Prices are unsurprisingly very central London, if you are on a budget you might want to avoid the carafe of hot sake, but otherwise dont let that stop you from visiting.

The food at Kazu is always perfect. Authentic, tasty and pretty healthy too! We had lovely vegetable gyoza - katsu curry chicken, salmon teriyaki, steamed veg and rice. All beautifully cooked and presented. Kazu is always a reliable and delicious choice!

The standout point of Kazu is the quality of the Sashimi and the Ebi tempura that we had. Proper Japanese grade of food. The ambience of the restaurant is good. Simple and clean cut. The only minor point is that the headchef/owner was trying to hard to sell. Need to give time to customer settle and decide in their own time...

The food was delicious as always. The service was very disappointing. I had a table booked for 19:00 and it said that it will be reserved for us until 20:30. But at 19:29 the bill was forced on us (we haven’t asked for it) and they told us that we must leave because other people are waiting. I have been to Kazu numerous times and I do not understand why they decided to treat me like this this time.
