Voted Akron's "Best Seafood" restaurant, Kingfish offers a comfortable East Coast-inspired dining room while embracing the essence of coastal seafood from all regions, ensuring the best and freshest products possible. In addition to seafood, the menu features Certified Angus Beef steaks, chicken, pork, and vegetarian dishes, complemented by full bar service and an extensive wine list. The relaxed dining room includes cozy booth and table seating, a private 14-seat dining room, and semi-private dining for up to 30 guests. Kingfish is open for dinner seven days a week, with happy hour available Monday through Friday and all day on Sunday.

    I asked for my steak medium well it was medium at best. Very unhappy with it. This is the first time I was unhappy with my food. I don't send food back because have had problems with that.

    Our waiter was courteous and attentive. The food was delicious and portions sized appropriately. The beet salad was delicious. Could have had a few more beets. I had the swordfish blackened which was excellent.

    Consistently great seafood dishes. Love the menu! Service was good and friendly, but she was stretched a little thin for a Saturday evening.

    Our first time to Kingfish. We have heard conflicting reviews. Overall the food was good, nice ambiance, but service was lacking. It took almost a half hour to get our cocktails. We enjoy spacing out courses to enjoy the dining experience but delivery was slow. We would have ordered additional drinks and desert had your team been attentive to details. I don’t believe this was totally on the waitress. She was friendly, but should have stepped up to make the dining experience better. On a Saturday evening, the manager was non existent. We regularly go to a few restaurants around Kingfish that are at an equal or higher rating and spend. It is always great to see the manager work the room to ensure and enhance the experience. We may visit you again. If you want to be the King fish please step up your game.

    Excellent experience at Kingfish - food and drinks were great, service was excellent and a very nice setting for our Birthday dinner. We tried the Chilled Seafood Platter, Escargot, Scallops and Pasta Newburg. All tasted great. Kudos to our server, Margaret for taking care of our customizations and for being extra careful about our gluten allergy. We will be back!
