Welcome to Kobe An LoHi. In addition to a full sushi and izakaya menu, our signature dish of “shabu shabu” is a traditional Japanese-style hot-pot meal. The phrase “shabu, shabu” means “swish, swish” for the custom nature of cooking this dish. We're not your typical hot-pot or fondue restaurant. Our "Shabu Shabu" style transports you across time and cultures to immerse you in a deliciously fresh and evocative world. Got sat fairly quickly, spent a while waiting for the waitress to come over. After we got our drinks, it felt as if we were inconveniencing the waitress by sitting in her area. The food was very good, it always is. But this is the second time I've gone and had poor service.

I love Kobe An, I've been going here for years and will continue to as long as they are around. I always get the sukiyaki broth for shabu shabu, it's so delicious.

We had a party of 12 and the owners were very accommodating. We had great service throughout the night and they kept the sushi and cocktails coming. The food was excellent and everything was made to perfection. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

A++++ We had an excellent dining experience! Our Bartender Daisy was super helpful and guided us to a perfect selection of sushi! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, setting the perfect tone for a memorable meal. The sushi was outstanding—fresh and flavorful, particularly the garlic tuna and house-smoked salmon nigiri, which were absolute highlights. And the Ramen burger is a homerun for sure!! The bun is made out of Ramen noodles!! It's a must try and definitely add the quail egg. We were also impressed with their saporro tap beer served in frozen pint glasses, a nice touch that kept the beer ice-cold throughout the meal. Their sake selection was impressive, featuring many of our favorites including Kurosawa which we have a hard time finding. This place rocks!!!! Highly recommended for anyone seeking a quality Japanese dining experience!

Service was great and he took his time explaining how everything worked. The sushi was great as was the subha. A wonderful mean. We will be coming back
