Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace.     Love this place and return often a great value good service great food. Was a hit with my guests who were impressed. Wish they were a bit more prepared for opening keeping people waiting on a raining day I've been twice at opening and both times never seem ready to open. A small critic but an important first impression. See you again soon

    Great ambiance, food, and drinks. GreT for a date night or a night out with the girls. The food was over the top delicious.

    As with their sister restaurants(Talavera and Bakan) this first time at Koko was just as great- Service on point, everyone very attentive, drinks fresh (authentic Palomas w Lime juice) food absolutely delicious and generous in a very nice aesthetically pleasing environment-My only observation was their choice of playlist- Not so good-I expected more themed from modern to vintage Mexican artist tunes but it was just very street vibe, ranged from JLo to Lana del Rey in a second and while it didnt affect my gastronomical experience, music does influence the overall mood, so for me it was a bit distracting, but that’s just me- Even their indoor space has an amazing scent (same one I personally use at home lol) - Everything else was 10 out of 10- Will be back for that Cauliflower dish!

    We enjoyed mezcal Old Fashion, enchiladas, tacos, and guacamole. We capped the meal with the chocolate stuffed churros with cinnamon sherbet and coffee infused condensed milk. This is our second time enjoying this restaurant and bar.

    First time experiencing the restaurant that our friends recommended. It was after a lconcert on Friday night and despite arriving later (9:45 PM) the service was excellent. The restaurant was busy and the decor is beautiful, comfortable and stylish. Our waitress was amazing. I asked for her recommendations for a cocktail and then validated our menu choices with her and she did not steer us wrong. We ordered 4 courses to split and 2 cocktails and the food was delicious and a great value. The sea bass mole was amazing. The fish was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The carnitas tacos, fire roasted Cesar salad and the avocado and black bean appetizer were all fresh and tasty. Great find and we will be back!

    The skirt steak was extremely tough. Everything else though was very good including the service.

    Lindo lugar, buena comida, buen ambiente y buena atención. Un poco alto el precio para lo que es la comida.

    Drinks and food - excellent! Loved the guacamole, enchiladas and very authentic “vuelve a la vida” cocktail. They also have an extensive mezcal collection.
