The location is beautiful, our waitress was very sweet. Both our food and drinks were not great at all, we didn’t finish our food or drinks.

We dined on the patio, so it was quiet. Inside dining is often loud due to the bar and TV's. We eat at La Fogata on Austin Highway about once a month. Their cheese enchiladas are a favorite!

Service was very slow which resulted in food that was lukewarm. Restaurant was not crowded so the slow service was disappointing.

Good food and we sat outside and it was very quiet for my party of 6. The waitress was on point with refills and asking if we need anything. I will definitely go back to this location.

La Fogata on Austin Hwy is my favorite choice when I want Mexican food that checks the block for a Tex-Mex craving. It is a hidden gem… the same quality as the original without the crowds and the long wait for a table. Beautifully appointed, extensive menu, good food, excellent bar, good service, reasonably priced. With so many Mexican restaurants to choose from in San Antonio, you can’t go wrong at La Fogata, Austin Hwy!
