Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris. The main dining room highlights a massive curved bar with a metal top imported from Paris, a signature piece of Boucherie.

What a beautiful restaurant with outstanding food and service. Our waiter was Amine, he was great, very friendly prompt with our drinks and food, I feel like he went above and beyond. We will definitely be back again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at La Grande Boucherie. The ambiance of the building and the live music complemented the delicious food perfectly. We particularly enjoyed the mussels in the Dijon sauce and the chocolate mousse dessert. Orlando took fantastic care of us and we can’t wait to come back and see him again! A great all around experience.

Andrea was an absolutely amazing server! She made our night so memorable! This was a dinner that was more than just food but an amazing experience! Management was also wonderful! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you go ask for Andrea to be your server! You’re welcome in advance!

We had the rib-eye steak special and ny strip and it was cooked to perfection! Our server Christian was amazing and if great help!

This is a great place for a celebration or special occasion. We went there for my friends birthday and had a fantastic time! Our waiter Tim was the highlight of our night! Great service, great food, and live music!

The service was fantastic but the food was disappointing especially given the cost. I had dinner in the same restaurant in NYC and the food was much better in NYC. Very cool physical space.

I had a reservation for 6:45 pm but waited until 7:00 pm to be seated. Despite many empty tables in the restaurant, they attempted to seat us in the very busy bar area in the midst of a crowd of people. They literally had to ask folks to step back so that we could pull out our chairs. We asked to be seated in a quieter area but had to wait almost 30 minutes for a new table. Again, there was a large variety of open seating and this was extremely frustrating.
