An homage to the San Jacinto Inn, La Lucha offers a unique and indulgent menu complete with the freshest Gulf Coast-only oysters, shrimp, crab, warm biscuits and satisfying fried chicken dinners. We have been here many times because the fried chicken and shrimp and biscuits are the best anywhere around. We also love the Pharmacy burger. This night however the biscuits were totally bland as was the fried chicken. Both needed some salt. We were a little disappointed.

Overall the service was awesome, however the food was not that good. Made fresh but no seasoning at all on the chicken.

If you’re looking for amazing fried chicken, biscuits, and greens, La Lucha is the spot! I went with five friends, and we all ordered something different so we could try a bit of everything. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside—definitely a must-try. The biscuits were fluffy and buttery, and the greens had just the right amount of seasoning. The service was great too! Our server was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The vibe of the place was fun and laid-back, perfect for a group outing. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I’d definitely go back. If you’re in the area and craving some delicious comfort food, La Lucha won’t disappoint!

Had a date night here and it was perfect! We ordered shrimp & pork dumplings, the chicken special, and crispy shrimp tacos. It was all fresh and phenomenal. The service was excellent as well! We will definitely be back!

I had such a wonderful experience, and the staff was really nice. We had a very well educated waiter, I’m sorry I forgot her name but she was the best. It was my birthday dinner and I don’t regret one bit spending it there. I will definitely be back.
