                                                                                                After a good start with the lobster bisque, it was downhill from there. Reheated coq au vin (dry chicken), soggy salad made earlier in the day and excessively sweet chocolate mousse made with low quality chocolate. Disappointing.

                                                                                                A local gem. Celebrated my birthday at La Majestic recently. The food was amazing, especially the lobster bisque. The menu was extensive and offered the traditional french classics (e.g. coq au vin) as well as pasta and risotto and a good selection of entrees. Everybody in my party enjoyed their meals. Service was attentive and friendly and no cakeage was charged for the birthday cake. Loved La Majestic and will definitely return.

Food was great, service was excellent and the team at La Majestic went above and beyond our expectations to help celebrate our Dad’s birthday dinner. Such a positive experience. Thank you.

                                                                                                Bisque was excellent with real lobster pieces and the Coq au Vin good too but could have done with a little more red wine. The bottled wine was pricy with the French Sav Blanc I think $70, available at Dan Murphy for $19!

                                                                                                We decided on 4 entrees as starters . It was hard to decide with so many choices !!!! Lobster bisque, garlic escargot both with toasted baguettes & butter to accompany them . All served piping hot & not rushed . Then shared lamb skewers with French fries & small green salad . Yes - this was an entree but more like a shared dish - delicious! And to top that off large mozzarella & halloumi cheese cigars in roasted garlic & red wine sauce !! It was out Anniversary so out came a surprise chocolate mousse dessert with a candle ! The service was first class & the owner was so fruendly . The French wine was reasonably priced too ! We will definitely be returning !

But me and my wife had our post valentines date and I have to say it’s one of the best restaurants we had eaten. Service was exceptional, ambience was very nice and a good value for money
