A great dining experience from drinks to dessert. The cocktails are creative and delicious. The food is amazing and artfully presented. The corn ribs are a must have. And all of this in a lovely and very clean. I can’t wait to return. And bonus: there are many clearly identified menu items.

La Maya will now be added in rotation to my local favorites list. From their top notch personable & knowledgeable service to their delicious handcrafted drinks to their perfectly flavorful food, I can’t wait to return! Our server Jess (hope I remembered her name correctly) was amazing! Pinche Wüey cocktail, corn ribs and brussel sprouts were stand out items! 5/5 highly recommend across the board!

bruh I don’t even like nachos and I almost got them again for my entree. Be back soon for sure and I’m still standing in the restaurant.

Our first time here and won’t be our last! The food, drinks and service were all top notch and the ambiance was incredibly cute and quaint. My only word of advice is if you’re looking to have a quiet intimate conversation, this is probably not the best location to go as the tables are all very close together and seating is tight.

You won’t find a better Mexican meal in the Lehigh Valley 🇲🇽 La Maya has been one of our top spots since opening this past summer. Here is what our most recent meal looked like. Of course, we had to split an app. We got the shrimp tostada which was bright, creamy & the perfect way to soak up the first round of drinks. My partner got a custom “horchata sour” (unfortunately not pictured) and loved it. Definitely recommend trying the Bartender’s Choice to discover something new! Also, try out their house tequilas that they create in partnership with another local business. We’re not big tequila drinkers, but thoroughly enjoyed them. My short rib entree was cooked perfectly - no knife needed. We were surprised by the enchiladas which were creamy and flavorful. We could have ordered two plates of this. The corn tortillas really stood up to the filling and sauce, not mushy or bland at all. To finish out, we had to get a tres leches, which we were happy to find was still on the menu. One note, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly restaurant serving oversized portions, La Maya may not be for you. There are plenty of other wonderful options in the Lehigh Valley that can fulfill a quick taco plate fix (we LOVE going to Casa Toro for this). Here, the focus is on quality and pushing the envelope on what Mexican cuisine can be. Also including some photos from our previous meals there for you! Looking forward to seeing what La Maya brings in 2025.

Great food and cocktails. Unique menu and a welcomed change of pace. Would highly recommend. Probably the best new restaurant the lehigh valley has gotten in some time.

I thought the ambience at La Maya was very nice, very upscale although a little dark. We needed a table lamp to read the menu. The food was very good but I felt the sauce with the lamb shank I ordered , although tasty in itself, overwhelmed the taste of the meat. The habanero in the sauce was a tad too much. The three people I was with enjoyed their appetizers, sides and entrees. One of the appetizers on special, a fried cheese sort of appetizer, was a knockout. I think my only real gripe was the cost of the drinks. I ordered a $15 cocktail and it was served in a short water glass and was only half full. That was very disappointing. The other cocktails came in the same size glass, for $15-17. I will return because I enjoyed the experience. Perhaps next time La Maya will have larger glasses, or at least fill the ones they use now.

Wow! What a fantastic place. A great take on Mexico an cuisine and I live in Mexico so that says a lot I think. Wonderful atmosphere, great cocktails, delicious sauces and stellar staff. It should have been busier due to how great it was! Only suggestion I have is if you like things spicy, ask for their spicy chili oil or something, it adds a lot of your into that. ❤️🌶️
