This was our first time back to the historic house (formerly owned by Maria Jefferson Shine, Thomas Jefferson's great granddaughter) on Bridge St. since Preserved closed more than a year ago. My husband and I wanted to eat on the porch and a table was reserved for us there but the wind and drizzle made us change our mind and sit inside. The lunch menu is rather pricey but the quality of the selections is in line with the pricing. We split a cup of the Minorcan chowder - best we have ever had highlighted by he smokey tomato broth and abundance of clams. For our entrees, my husband ordered the Royal (burger with frites) and I had the Cesar salad. Both of us were pleased with our selections. We had hot tea (several Tazo varieties to choose from) to accompany our meal. Alex provided outstanding service including refilling cold and hot water (for the tea) when appropriate. The wine list is extensive so my husband and I will be back for dinner soon. Highly recommended..

We had a 6:45pm reservation. We arrived and checked in with the host at 6:40pm. We were told our table was still occupied by the previous diners and we were asked to wait outside on their patio. At 7:00pm, I made my presence known to the host (who was on the phone) because it became awkward in the spot where they asked us to wait (another family was seated directly in front of us in our waiting area and we were somewhat crowded). When they started placing their order, I felt like it was time to check back in with the host. At 7:12, we were finally seated. We were comped bubbly, but because I don’t drink alcohol, it was an empty gesture. The meal was great and I started to forget about my experience at the start until I returned home and checked my messages. At 6:57pm, the restaurant called and left me a message asking me if I was still going to make my 6:45 reservation. They had called me 17 minutes after I checked in and while I was steps from the host who had called to ask if I was going to make my reservation.

We love La Nouvelle! It’s the perfect addition to our neighborhood of Lincolnville. The food is to die for. Highly recommend!

Christmas Eve dinner was exceptional from the time we were greeted, our waiter Josh and the food just delicious. Too bad we were too full for desert!!! Thanks for a wonderful evening... we will be back.

Micheal u have really outdone yourself ! The staff is incredible the wine list is insane !!! And the food is outstanding! Cavier 🤤I woke up thinking about our meal !

It has been a pleasant experience, very good service both while waiting and inside the dining room, a very cozy place and excellent food, I would definitely repeat it.

The best overall in St. Augustine. Everything from the appetizer to the dessert was amazing. The service was great, and Josh offered us suggestions that were delicious. I'm definitely going back.
