La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).

A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Expect wild noisette venison, Wiltshire truffles (thanks to our house truffle dog Alba!), rare woodland mushrooms, and much wonderful produce from our small organic farm in Kent.

The wine list is sourced entirely from independent producers, and regularly updated with a specialised focus on low intervention, natural and biodynamic wines.

We are across the road to the Design Museum & Holland Park, a 10 minute walk from Kensington Olympia and a short distance to the Royal Albert Hall.

Great neighbourhood restaurant. The food here is better than many well known restaurants I've eaten at. Great value and the staff are charming. Highly recommend

We had a superb experience at La Palombe. The host was very welcoming and all the staff were fantastic. We were celebrating a birthday and they made it such a special evening. It was lovely to meet the chef at the end of the meal. The food was excellent. We will definitely be back on our next visit to London.

Oh my goodness what a find! Delicious cuisine in a very smart decor. After our dinner head chef came over to check on us which was a really lovely touch - it turns out he is not just a great cook but charming too (none of this moody chef nonsense)

We had a fantastic meal at La Palombe. But even more than the terrific food, the warmth and care that the staff — and owner— took to make us feel welcome was really special. We will be back!

I was absolutely thrilled to see (and taste) the creations at Lapalombe by the J crew (Jake and James) so of course, i took some of my friends, the six of us to visit the restaurant. I love the relaxing ambience. The J crew also took the time to step out of the kitchen and serve the diners which was a lovely touch. Some of the dishes were standouts, especially the bread, octopus, and confit duck leg! I am already looking forward to my next visit in January

We booked a table for my birthday and the restaurant was very generous contributing to our celebration - thank you. The staff were attentive and Jake the head chef came around during the evening to speak to all the customers (Always a nice touch). The food whilst not overly fussy was of high quality and very well cooked. We will be back as there are many dishes on the menu we would like to try. Overall an excellent experience.
