My son and I chose Eataly for our Christmas lunch with their fixe price. The selection for the Fixe Price was not great. We could not see the menu as they didn’t share. We were seated at a very small table. My son is 6’5” and I asked if we could have a larger table which was denied us. So we sat and it took a minute for our waitress to come and she seemed kind of scattered. She was nice, but not completely there. We ordered the charcuterie board that was a part of the fixed price menu. It was ALL meat with a little cheese. We were very disappointed. My Son ordered their linguine with seafood. I had the Cod special. It was fishy and overcooked. I sent my order back and got their spinach pasta with different things in it that was delicious. We both got dessert which was okay! When we left my son informed me he didn’t care for his food and was very disappointed! We eat at Eataly quite often and we thoroughly enjoy their pasta. We both wish we had ordered off the regular menu yesterday and we would’ve been a lot happier. We left feeling a little underwhelmed by what we had. I will never go back and get a fixe price dinner with them again. Although their pasta is wonderful. If you eat off their regular menu, it’s outstanding just stay away from the Cod! Being it was our Christmas Dinner it was disappointing!

It was our first time at this restaurant, My Family and I enjoyed a nice Christmas Eve dinner it was perfect and very delicious. I loved that after dinner we walked over to the bakery to take dessert and some pastries home to enjoy at our home. We can’t wait to come back.

Yummy pizza and spritz but the focaccia isn’t what it used to be. I’m hoping it’s just an off day due to the holidays. 🙃

We never got the salad we ordered and had to have it taken off the bill. My daughter ordered an espresso and asked that it come before dinner. She had a headache and it helps her to have coffee. We never received, nor saw our waitress till after dinner was done. The waitress finally came by and we asked for the espresso. She did comp it, but it was very frustrating. We had to find the waitress and call her over. I’m sure she was busy. If they are understaffed then I feel management should help and walk around to see if you need anything. The food was good. We received bread we ordered, but no explanation as to why a big olive oil and a small olive oil. We said we were doing family style. Never asked if we wanted new plates after our bread plates were dirty.

We went to La Pizza & La Pasta - Eataly LA for the first time for dinner. Generally, the food was good. One person ordered the Carciofi e Pancetta pizza: the menu described the pancetta as crispy, yet there wasn't anything crispy about it, which disappointed him. I ordered the Colorata Insalate, which was delicious, and the vegetables were fresh. However, the salad was $18 and was the size of a side salad, which was surprising, disappointing, and overpriced. The other person ordered the Calzone Classico and was happy with it. Our server must have had a lot of tables because it took a while for her to take our order. While the food was delivered quickly after we ordered, our server didn't check back on us, and it took a while for our empty plates to be cleared and for the server to return. We ordered a Pannecota for dessert, which was delicious. It also took our server a while to bring the check and pick it up. Finally, one of the managers noticed we were waiting, processed my credit card, and returned it. While I'm open to trying a meal there again, I'm also in no hurry to try it again.

Love love this place, and the food is as amazing as the place is noisy. Always worth the long trip from the Inland Empire, but would like to be able to hear my dining companions.
