Outstanding food and service. One of the best Indian restaurants I’ve ever dined. Little details like perfectly cooked rice and naan. Intimate peaceful ambience. Garlic naan was flavorful and packed a punch. Shrimp curry was cooked perfectly. Only fault in service was not filling water glasses during dinner expeditiously. Forgivable since service was very welcoming. Small restaurant about a half block from Mast General Store in downtown Asheville. Prices are very reasonable, considering the quality of the food. I have not been to their daily lunch buffet but I definitely will. I hope this restaurant survives the decreased number of tourist visitors to Asheville since the hurricane.

We were seated by the front door at first and it was a little chilly when the door opened so I asked if there was another table back further. There was and without any problem and very graciously, we were moved. The cocktails and wine we ordered were excellent. The food was outstanding and fresh. We had mostly vegetarian options like crispy cauliflower and Saag Chat then Baigan Bartha, wild Mushroom Korma and Lamb Vindaloo. The portions were big so we we took a little of each home with rice for another meal. All the food was great and in discussing which was our favorite, we all said we just couldn’t decide because it was all good. Our server was excellent and the timing was not rushed at all. We had no problem with conversation as the noise level was very reasonable. If you haven’t tried it, go!!!

We love Andaaz so we were so excited when we found out they have a sister restaurant! The food was just as amazing and our waiter, Jay, was fantastic. What a lovely experience. We'll definitely be back!
