We are regulars at Lakeside and very much enjoy it. It was a quiet lunch as it was the day after valentine's and the weather outside was nasty. The service and food was excellent

Given that it was a very busy Valentine's dinner, we unfortunately experience a couple of mishaps. However, management and staff were VERY apologetic and amendable. Overall it was a very enjoyable evening, delicious food for a great value. We will certainly go back again to enjoy when it's not so hectic.

We had the Valentine's Day dinner. Glad we had a reservation because they were slammed! We were given a glass of champagne and a chocolate covered strawberry while we waited, but seated at a great table in a very timely manner. Everything was wonderful, but the coquilles St. Jaques stole the show. AMAZING! Our server, Holly, was helpful, friendly and professional. We never felt rushed and had a wonderful dinner and a wonderful evening.

A delicious Valentine’s meal but we waited over 45 minutes for our main course while people around us who had come in after us were getting theirs, finishing it and leaving. Not sure what happened. Also part of my meal was cold. I returned it to have it heated up and received half of the portion I had sent back. That being said, the food was very tasty.

We enjoyed 2 dinners at the restaurant and the food and service were outstanding! We plan on dining here again in the future if we are back in Collingwood.

Was overall a good experience. Signage could be a bit better, on how to find the restaurant, from the parking area. Decor is nice, and the seating is comfortable. Menu could have, a few more options. Overall we liked, the place !

Dinner reservation started at 6pm and it was nice and quiet and romantic for our anniversary. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly and became noisy. Service was perfect. Lobster bisque was delicious, unfortunately I discovered shell in mine and I was unable to finish the rest. Braised short ribs were out of this world. Meat fell apart. The complimentary sparkling wine was a beautiful touch. Overall, would attend again.
