At Landscape Restaurant & Grill, right in the heart of Hobart’s Hunter Street waterfront precinct, we create an unforgettable dining experience.

The heart of our kitchen lies in the coals of our Asado grill. Here, our experienced team, led by Head Chef Nathaniel Embrey, sear aged local wagyu, tender Tasmanian lamb, freshly caught seafood and other premium ingredients, creating masterful dishes of unrivaled flavour. Adding to the unique quality of our dishes is the distinctive environment in which they’re served – the historic walls of the original IXL Jam Factory, surrounded by the iconic landscape art of John Glover.

Chef Nathaniel Embrey and his team have prepared a set menu centred around iconic Tasmanian fare to wean you off the year. Our three-course set menu is priced at $195pp, inclusive of canapes and a glass of sparkling on arrival. All dietaries will considered provided they are noted at the time of booking.

Incredible experience, the setting, the service and the food were outstanding. From the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left, we felt like the only people in there. We can't wait to return!

We enjoyed the food and ambiance of the restaurant. There are many interesting artworks to explore. The service was friendly and accommodating. Be prepared for a leisurely dining experience. We were told that the steaks can take up to 40 minutes to prepare. We didn’t wait quite that long, but it did take a long time. The eye Fillet was delicious, as was the cauliflower. A nice pavlova suffered from underripe fruit but we still polished it off!
