   The food was fair. Service was very good. Tables are packed in there and noise level too high. Not relaxing.

   Every time I go here the food and atmosphere are excellent. It does get crowded, it is a little loud but staff is so polite, helpful and always cheerful. Great experience!

   While the service was great, the food was ok. I loved the beet salad, but the crab pasta was ok and the salmon was way overdone.

   I was really disappointed with my experience at La Scala’s Fire in Newtown Square. I ordered the crab and shrimp linguine in white sauce, but it tasted more like lemon soup—watery and completely flavorless. The panini was greasy, bland, and fell apart before I could eat it. The birria pizza lacked seasoning and had no depth of flavor. The drinks were equally bad. My mojito tasted like flat Sprite with mint—nowhere near a real mojito—and the specialty Burton drink was just liquor over ice with no balance. Even the wine was just average. Our server was polite but not attentive. We had to be overly specific just to get basic things done, which made the whole dining experience frustrating. Honestly, I don’t understand the good reviews—everything from food to service was subpar. I won’t be returning.

   The food was fantastic!! We had a very sweet waitress, her name was Kiera. I definitely will be back.

   Food is always good. It took a while until our server came to our table but it was a bit busy. We ordered two entrees and an appetizer. The entrees came out way before our appetizer. We ended up boxing it up and took it home.

   My server was focusing on other tables more than ours. She only checked on us one time. The food came out quickly, but only one plate at a time. My food wasn’t really hot. I am a little disappointed.

    Good experience but Chill with the loud music, should be background music, not interfering with the conversation at table
