De prijs kwaliteits verhouding van het eten is erg goed, nette en snelle bediening. Leuke sfeer binnen.

Lacks atmosphere. Feels more like a cafeteria rather than a restaurant. Food was ok and reasonably priced, but the experience gave the sense something was missing. Would not look to revisit.

Le Bistro is clearly a popular haunt for Edinburgh locals and rightly so . Hits all the right notes for a French cuisine experience and made for a really Good Friday night😊

This restaurant is a hidden gem, not as well known as it deserves. Food is authentic and good value, and service impeccable. Good atmosphere. Recommended for lunch and dinner.

This is the first time that I have ever been to Le Bistrot and I will definitely be back again very soon. Food, service and staff were all excellent and the fixed price menu was excellent value for money. I look forward to coming back again in the very near future. Thank you.

Le Bistrot is a charming French eaterie, tucked away in the centre of Edinburgh. We are a family of 4, with 2 children aged 12 and 15 and we all managed to find something delicious to eat - including dessert! Portions weren’t huge but perfectly adequate. The wine list was not extensive but our choices were excellent. The service was friendly and helpful at all times, we would not hesitate to return.

This is a pleasant and overlooked venue in the centre of Edinburgh, which makes it a happy secret to share. The choice of wines is good and the food freshly prepared. Service is a little slow, but friendly and efficient once it arrives. Pleasant surroundings, although the hard surfaces of tables, walls, floor and ceiling mean that noise levels can be intrusive.

Excellent services. Foods were very high standard. The pan fried scallop and monkfish were wonderful. Probably the best in Edinburgh. We were very much enjoyed for a dinner there. Sure will go back again.
