Le French is a gourmet, casual-chic French bistro specializing in modern Parisian cuisine with global influences, a nod to co-founders and sisters Ami and Rougui Dia’s heritage. The inside temperature seemed to be about 65 degrees, rather chilly for a meal. We asked if the heat could be turned up a bit, but the server did not know how to do that. I noticed also that the "inside" door connecting the vestibule to the outside door was open - time to close that inner door. Summer is over! It was kept open the whole time we were there, with the temperature dropping and snow falling. The wife felt her hamburger which we expected at Le French would be perfect. was instead over cooked and quite salty. They were also out of her favorite meal at this restaurant. I guess we should call ahead in the future to make sure it is available. So, all in all, we will be back, but disappointment like this can certainly result in enthusiasm to return.

They were short handed and our server she was excellent and was rewarded with a 30% tip.

Le French is fabulous, and I am so grateful to have this newer location located close to all the new development around 9th and Colo Blvd. Drinks, Food, Service, and Atmosphere were all on par with past experiences. My only warning is to give yourself plenty of time to dine here. The kitchen seems to easily get overwhelmed and dishes come out slowly. Plan at least 90 minutes or so. Especially if you are trying to make a movie next door.

SALT! The food was simply salty, no other flavor could get through. The burger was a salty, sloppy mess. Poor quality! Second time we’ve tried Le French at this location once when they first opened and that was poor experience so we gave them some time and unfortunately things haven’t improved. Can’t recommend.

The restaurant was 85% empty when we arrived for our brunch reservation. They tried to seat us at a crappy table in a dark corner near the bar, rather than in the (completely empty) front of the room near the windows looking out onto sunny day . When I asked for a nicer table, the hostess tried to decline, saying they were expecting large parties later. I don’t appreciate making a res days in advance and being treated as less valuable a guest than whoever is coming “later”. I had to insist, so it felt like brunch began with a contest of wills. An unwelcoming and disappointing experience.
