Michelin-starred Le Jardinier is a unique and refined restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli located in The Museum of Fine Arts Houston.

Rooted in timeless French approach, Chef Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by wild and sustainable fish with local Texas meats. All our breads are gluten-free and baked in house.

Le Jardinier's light-filled space will evoke a feeling of relaxed-luxury and incorporate custom art pieces with outdoor dining set within an Isamu Noguchi-designed sculpture garden. In 2024, Le Jardinier was awarded one Michelin Star at Texas' Inaugural Michelin Guide.

    Superb service and excellent food! The flavors were perfect and plated beautifully. We had the food gras, burrata, duck, cod, ravioli and the butterfly dessert. My fave was the ravioli.

    It was a really good dinner. Elevated experience for sure and the food was great. Scallops were amazing, beets were outstanding, risotto was delicious. Duck and filet minion were good but have had better. Still would definitely go back. Our waitress was very friendly as well. I wish I could remember her name as she was a great representation of the restaurant.

    Lovely dining experience at Le Jardinière. We enjoyed the location inside the MFAH, the food, garden salad and yuca crusted cod was cooked to perfection. Service was impeccable.

    Le Jardinier fully deserves its new Michelin star. Our group of four had lunch after a museum visit. Everything from the ambience to the food to the service was spectacular. My squid ink shellfish ravioli was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted anywhere in the world, and our most carnivorous diner pronounced the Wagyu burger “the best piece of meat I’ve ever had.” Bravi to everyone at Le Jardinier!

    Sad experience at Le Jardiner. Shocked after having been a handful of times. Service timing with pairings and dishes was a disaster. Team seemed stressed. Dish delivery with lackluster explanations. Fell short of expectations for sure given prior experiences here.

    By far the best food I’ve ever tasted! My husband and I greatly enjoyed ourselves. Every single course was phenomenal, so fresh, and delicious!! We plan to return seasonally to try the menu. The only downside was that there were delays with bringing the plates out, so we were there for a total of 3 hours due to waiting for courses to be brought out. Fortunately for them, the wait was definitely worth it!

    Great restaurant- the host, David is fantastic. Would recommend they not allow children - detracts from a fine dining experience.

    Best dining experience of 2024! Food and its presentation stunning. As for the service, they catered to our every wish and surprised us with very sweet gestures.

    We’ve always had an amazing experience here and were very excited to go back after they received the Michelin star here. Unfortunately we had to return both the cocktails. We were also unable to eat the steak as it was very chewy and had a burnt flavor. The staff and service was excellent as usual and they tried their best to fix both the issues for us. They didn’t even charge us for the steak and drinks at the end which we appreciate. We will be going back as we love the ambience and in the past have enjoyed the food. Hoping it was just a one time thing.
