Join us at the Le Pont de la Tour Bistrot on 12th May 2022, on the banks of the Thames. Home to the bar and bistrot for more casual dining, enjoy a fine selection of wines and unique cocktails, alongside our Restaurant Menu. The menu, designed by Executive Chef Tony Fleming, features a range of French classics and the restaurant’s best-loved dishes, with a Prix Fixe Menu and superb seafood selection also available.

Entree beef tartare was very garlic forward, so meat quality couldn’t be tasted well; side bread slices weren’t warm or toasted but rather cold which added no textural contrast. The steak was overly smokey, to the point that it had a burnt BBQ feeling. Dessert was a little bit depressingly cold and didn’t entirely standout. Cocktails were decent. However, table service and view were absolutely outstanding! Thank you Khaleed for serving us. I hope your throat is better now.

It was a lovely evening, however, the waiter was a bit underhanded when it came to the Evening Standard meal deal. He offered us champagne but never told us that it wasn't included as the glass of wine that came with the meal, nor did he offer the free glass of wine. A bit of surprise when the bill came. When I questioned it he played dumb and never offered to take it off the bill.

The service was just laughably slow. To the point where it honestly felt like the staff were not trained. I know there are shortages but it was way past the point of them being overrun as it was even that busy tbh. It took 25 minutes to get the drinks/water. A simple two course meal took almost 2 hours… On a side note the food was ok, nothing special but for the price point it was totally fine.

Food and service themselves were great. Kitchen was horribly slow. Few customers and still they managed to take forever to prepare the food. But otherwise a good experience et waiters were great.

Been to LPontDLT before and it has always been an excellent place. This time was the same (which says something in the era of fluctuating service/food standards). Always happy to go here. Waiter / service was impeccable, food was a very goood standard, and the views / location are perfect. Will be back again before long

Albeit they had just opened, it was something out of Fawlty Towers. Wrong orders, food turning up at different times, having to pour our own wine, and to top it off a fight outside between some drunk patrons and staff with the police turning up. Not quite what we had expected for a pre-theatre meal!
