The food was incredible but the service from our waiter was terrible. We waited 15 minutes before he took our drinks order. Ordered more drinks that didn’t arrive and had to wait 20 minutes for the bill after asking twice. Spoiled the night for us.

Food wa s good. Service was atrocious. Wasn’t busy and it took 20 minutes to get water, 30 minutes to order and another 25 minutes for food delivery. Very disappointed. Not likely to return.

Never actually got to eat here, waited for 10min for a table then got stuck at this weird table in the doorway. Keep in mind the place was empty except the bar, waited at the table for like 10min, nobody came like not even for water… so we just left… never again

Food was great. The petite lobster roll and petite crab rolls were perfect for lunch. The clam chowder was amazing! Highly recommend!

Our server was wonderful. The food not so much. It was just average. My daughter said the lobster bisque tasted scorched. The restaurant is lovely but I wouldn’t come back.

Waiter was awful. To make it worse , he was training a new waiter. I order a salty dish and my drink was never refilled. Order was incomplete yet I could never inform him as he never stopped by. Fried food was over bartered.

Looking for a place to eat after driving from Indy to Chicago decided to try Legal Sea Food. Called ahead to see if they offered valet parking was told next door at the House of Blues. We pull up get out however we do not see anyone to do the valet service go inside find out that we need to go two streets over and to the dome in order to do the valet parking. We finally arrive only to see a long line due to a concert wait our turn give up the keys and then walk back two blocks for dinner. Was a little disappointed no bread was servered and the food was just okay nothing spectacular. The waiter was just okay he kept forgetting things but super friendly. So if you plan on eating there and not a local please please ask many questions to ensure that you understand the valet parking situation. Also after walking outside in the cold we found out we could have walked indoors to Legal Sea Food from the Dome but of course no one shared this information with us.

Wanted to enjoy the view of the Chicago River but the area near the window was really cold so we had to move to other side of the room with very little view. Great if they can forgive out how to moderate the temps. Otherwise a great experience.

Everything was tasty! We started with oysters on the shell. They were plump and fresh. Tasted like the sea. My crab cake was mostly crab with just a little binder. My husband had Chilean Sea Bass. Very fresh and firm. My trout with lemon and capers was moist with just enough lemon, not to overpowering. The 4 sides were all done well. I especially liked the Brussels with bacon. The service was exceptional. We were given knowledgeable suggestions to help us decide what to choose. The waiter and the manager both were congenial and attentive. I recommend this restaurant.
