I want to express my disatisfaction for yesterday's reservation. I had originally booked a table for 8 people for the rooftop following a booking at the bistro. I had even quoted the reservation. Following communication with manager L.G. I asked for the rooftop reservation and was told that it was at 1pm. I received an email on the 31st Dec. that the reservation was at 1.30 so at 1.25 I was there where I was told that it was passed the time allowed and hence the reservation was cancelled. I was then told to check at the bistro where the reservation was still on. This is not understandble how I had changed the reservation from bistro to roof top with email confirmation and recevied an email that a booking was still on at the bistro. It is clear that there was no reservation at the rooftop and the bistro reservation was retained instead. Totally unsatisfied. Besides all this the attendant at the entrance to the roof top was rude and unprofessional with her tone. Did not even try to explain and upon communicating to us she was not willing to help us understand. Not the same can be said for the bistro where we were serviced perfectly by the waitress, Narcisa and food was delicious. Service impeccable at the bistro. We are so grateful for being provided two complimentary deserts.

Great service and lovely food. We ate downstairs in the restaurant and were given VIP treatment when we moved to the roof bar after. A lovely touch!

The menu was limited with a small menu on Xmas day. We debated the bill 3 times as they were over charging us 3 times.

1.Although there were many free tables, we were given a table that we didn't particularly like. Apparently they were all reserved, which turned out not to be true as the evening progressed. 2. We ordered Cordon Bleu and after 10 minutes we were told that it wasn't available! How can it be that a good restaurant doesn't serve pork on a Saturday evening...very poor purchasing management! 3. The relatively expensive dishes that we ordered were also rather poorly prepared: there was almost no meat in the beef stroganof, but a lot of mushrooms and far too much fatty sauce, the barley side dish was really unacceptable; the duck breast was almost raw..... . All in all: extremely disappointing and not recommended!

Fantastic experience at the Leo Bistro for Breakfast and Dinner. Great looking space, with a equally great menu and drinks options. Judith made us feel super welcome to dinner and Budapest.
