Previous trip here my wife love it. Loved the steak and everything about out experience. I made a reservation for our 1st anniversary yesterday for her and overall the Exp was good. The waiter was great and personable, and the atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. The food overall I gave 4 stars as her steak ordered medium was rare to super rare so she was instantly turned off but to be fair it is more of a seafood place sooooo maybe shame on us. We coulda sent it back to have it cooked more but we do not do that. Outside of that, we enjoyed ourselves and would recommend. Just stay the course and order the seafood lol. I wish I did as it looked super good.

Leo’s is probably the best seafood restaurant in Grand Rapids, and I will return, even though tonight was a bit of an off night. Tonight I had a house green salad without the trimmings, (dried cherries, cheese & candied pecans), and I asked for light dressing… the lettuce was nice, but quite drenched in the house vinagrette. For me, the bread was industrial and not worth the calories… my entrée was Chillian sea bass, which was outstanding with a spicy drizzle and perfectly cooked. Normally, it’s served with a risotto cake and no vegetables so I asked for asparagus because I did not see any seasonal vegetables on the menu. The asparagus probably came from Chile or someplace far away and was sub-par. It was very busy in there tonight, and our waitress was very good.

I have to say I was very impressed. Our servers were great the food incredible the atmosphere perfect for our holiday event and I will be back. My new favorite spot and I live in Grand Haven so worth the drive !

My daughter and I had a pre-holiday meal before TSO. We always love the oysters, the baked Brie, the scallops and the lobster bisque. The service is always wonderful as well as the food!
