To welcome in 2025 we are offering a special lunch and pre-theatre menu. £20 for 2 courses and £25 for 3 (plus service). It is an amazing bargain for the whole of January.

L'Escargot is London's oldest and most celebrated French restaurant serving classic French dishes. Favourite dishes include French onion soup, Lobster bisque, oysters, Tournedos "Rossini", grilled lobster, Chateaubriand and of course snails ! L'Escargot was voted one of the most romantic restaurants in London and is a perfect spot to celebrate a birthday or anniversary.

If you want to come in just for a drink, upstairs there is a great cocktail bar with reasonably priced cocktails and a bar snack menu.

The restaurant has welcomed celebrities such as Coco Chanel, Charles de Gaulle, Maurice Chevalier, Laurence Olivier, Lucien Freud and Francis Bacon. and was a favourite of Princess Diana

L'Escargot is located close to all the major West-End theatres, which makes it an excellent pre and post theatre dining spot.

A perfect Sunday lunch, the staff were incredible and as good as you could ever hope for, they went above and beyond. A pleasure.

We had a very nice evening at L'Escargot, they were welcoming and the waiter was quite knowledgeable and helpful. The food here is cooked and presented at a high level, it is easy to recommend it to anyone.

What an amazing evening from the moment we walked in we were warmly greeted. We had a great table and the restaurant ambience was perfect. Then the food arrived - what a delicious delight complimented with a great choice of wine and wonderful service 🙌👌 Can’t recommend L’Escargot enough. Thank you for such a special evening we will see you all again soon!

Outstanding food from a delightful menu. The service was remarkable from start to finish and we had a glorious table. We had a memorable evening and one we're keen to repeat sometime soon. Thank you for taking so much trouble.

We had a wonderful evening at L'escargot, we enjoyed the set menu and every dish was cooked perfectly. The staff were so welcoming and friendly which made the evening perfect.
