Lilac is a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

                                                        Tasting menu was 150/person. Extremely overpriced for the taste. To be honest, the foos was largely mediocre. Service was best ive ever seen in tampa. Overall, if they improve the taste of the food, it would be worthy, in my opinion, of the michelin star theyve received. The current quality doesnt justify the tasting menu price

                                                        Food was amazing and Jesse was very knowledgeable about each dish and drink! The setting of the restaurant is kind of odd for this price point, but that’s just my opinion.

                                                        It was a perfect evening. The small amount of noise from the bar area during the week night added the perfect amount of energy to the dinner. The room was beautiful, and the green kitchen was amazing to see. Of course the food was perfect, from the scallops and truffle pasta to the salmon and filet. What made the birthday celebration the best was the service. Absolute perfection from the team, not a beat was missed. They were also accommodating to the allergies that we had. We would recommend 100 times over, don’t miss out!

                                                        My family just left! Our waitress was amazing! The staff was great! The service was top notch! I watched the open kitchen and everything was totally organized and quiet. No chaos. We drove 1 hr to get there and was worth! Thanks M.star

                                                        Great staffs, very courteous and polite. We celebrated anniversary, and our table had anniversary decor which was nice. Food was good too, small portions but great taste. Lamb & Octopus was the best!
