Lilac is a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday, the dining room’s walnut flooring and the warm glow from the pendant globes create an elevated, convivial space focused around an eight-seat Christian Liaigre chef’s counter in sandblasted walnut and a lively open kitchen. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.

Very beautiful setting. Intimate and calm environment. A bit noisy from the adjacent hotel lobby/bar area but it didn’t impact easy conversation. Starter four course was fabulous. Creative flavors that worked as finger food. Not messy. Appetizers were all quite good. Main course was mixed. The duck and steak coursed were delightful. The shared snapper was bland. Nothing special. Avoid. The desserts were all delicious. Service was good. Wines and sommelier support were good Will try again to try to get the experience we had hoped for. . Didn’t match other one star restaurant experiences we have had.

We had an incredible experience celebrating our wedding anniversary here! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly special, even surprising us with a thoughtful handwritten note. The food was absolutely fantastic, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes, especially since I had expected smaller servings. Every detail was carefully attended to, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to celebrate in style!

We went here last year around the same time and the food was better during that visit. It was good but it wasn’t amazing. Maybe it’s just this years seasonal menu but we didn’t walk away saying wow. The service was wonderful. We probably won’t be back.

Communication on menu pricing, very poor. Value is non existent. $150 for inconsistency per person is crazy. $75 cancellation unwarranted fora reservation. OpenTable misleading on this restaurant. Staff was nice, they recognized my wife had a gluten free preference and they accommodated her. Main reason I didn’t complain. The presentation of the food was okay. Wine was good. Dessert was okay. Cappuccino was disgusting. Esspresso Martini was solid. Salmon portion was good. Beef tenderloin portion was poor. Part of the beef tenderloin entree was burned and had a bad taste. Octopus was terrible, it seemed like it was served raw. Scallops were good. Milkbread was really good. Rest of menu just felt off. Atmosphere was alright. Overall, I would not visit again. Once I saw this was in the Edition I should have known to leave….

This place is simply top notch! The service and the food were amazing and I greatly appreciated the preparation, presentation, and delightful taste of the 5 course meal we had. They definitely deserve that Michelin award!

I visited Lilac twice in 2023 and had the best dining experience both times. The food, service, ambiance and wine pairings were on point. With that being said, I was very much looking forward to a special NYE treat at Lilac but left shocked at how bad the food was on this particular night. Being that it was a holiday, we were offered the 5 or 8pm seating and chose the 8pm seating because it offered an additional course. Unable to order from the menu, like any other evening, all guests were served the same courses. To start, the appetizer options were fairly good with the exception of very briny oysters, the next course of king crab casserole was good, the fish that followed had a very pungent flavor and neither one of us finished it. One would think the waitstaff would ask why, but they just took our plates away quietly. Then the wagyu ribeye arrived and it was very thin, overcooked and honestly tasted like something that would be served at a Waffle House steak and eggs combo. I did not think wagyu could ever disappoint but what was served at Lilac on NYE was terrible. The dessert that ended our meal was very good and the wine pairings were great. But we spent $1,200 for two people and left very disappointed at the whole experience. I live out of state and look forward to Lilac but not anymore. I do hope my experience will not be the new norm for Lilac. If so, it will not be open long.
