Just steps from the Smithsonian National Zoo, Marriott Wardman-Park and Omni Shoreham, LiLLiES Restaurant & Bar is a family-owned restaurant which serves a mix of traditional Italian and Mediterranean cuisine with a contemporary edge.

When the weather is warm, diners can relax around mosaic tables on the terrace patio. On cooler days, the hardwood floors, candlelight and exposed brick inside make for a snug retreat. Brunch is served on both Saturdays and Sundays, and offers options for health-conscious patrons, such as a Greek yogurt parfait, and for those looking to indulge—say, in the Nutella-smothered French toast.

We ate inside and the atmosphere was loud, and there was a serious draft from the doors (even several tables away).Short walk from the zoo. We’ll go back when it’s warmer and we can eat outside.

                                                                                        LiLLiES is a great restaurant with excellent Italian food and a few non-Italian dishes too. Everything we had was delicious. The service was very good, and the ambience was great. It can get a bit too noisy when it’s full, but that’s the nature of the beast I think. Overall, I highly recommend it. Not cheap, but not exorbitantly priced either. You get what you pay for.

                                                                                        Our dinner was wonderful from the appatizer to the flan. Portions were perfect. Lisa our server was so nice and made sure our dinner was perfect. Highly recommend eating here and can't wait to go back.
