Our historic location is an amazing spot to unwind and dine on our patio (weather permitting) with our artfully prepared meals, including delicious vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Inside the Taft Museum, near the entrance, is a tiny bistro. My family and I made reservations for brunch on a Sunday and really enjoyed it. The menu choice is limited (but it is a tiny bistro) and unfortunately, the menu I looked at online before making a reservation had been changed over by the time we went. Two in our party are gluten intolerant, so we didn't have as much choice as we expected. However, we made do and everyone agreed that the food was delicious. Our server was a lovely man who had only been working there for a few months. He was attentive, helpful, cheerful, and very kind. The experience as a whole was great, and I will go back again.

Took an out of town friend to see the museum and to have lunch. The grilled cheese and mushroom with rice soup were very good. The server had a lot of tables but was friendly Would highly suggest you make reservations as they only have a few tables and people we’re having to wait

I love this place for a quiet Lunch or Brunch. The food is always good and the atmosphere is lovely. Its a great opportunity to meet friends and take in the museum for a fun afternoon. Kind of like having a private club without expensive fees! Its worth a museum membership too. A nice way to switch up your lunch routine.

It is always a pleasure to eat at the Taft Museum’s Lindner Cafe. The food is delicious, the service excellent, and the parking easy. The quiet ambience is perfect.

I had left the doctor’s office and needed cheering up and I remembered the Taft Museum Café called “Lindner family café” which I found was difficult to fine on OPENTABLE. I made a reservation for noon this Monday (Sunday and Monday the museum is free admission) and the light coming into the café from the garden was beautiful and soul lifting. I sat by a large window streaming beautiful light on flowers sitting on a tablecloth. I was having a 19th century experience which museums should give us. The service was charming and helpful. I order an egg frittata and glass of white wine. However, I am not sure the title on the menu. I cook for my wife Sunday mornings, so I did note to the service that the dish was delicious. I described to her patient or interested ears how the dish was delicious and detailed how I thought the disk was constructed. To my surprise when the cultured service returned with the check, she brought with her the chef construction of the dish and some secrets with her for me. The chef is excellent and thoughtful, and I will try to remake the dish for my love this Sunday. I rate the experience 100%. For dessert I visited the Rayburn portrait of Jane Fraser Tytler. The receipt is not the experience of the food or the environment. If I will include a photograph of the painting with the review. Kevin Booher
