Overlooking the lake and golf course, Links Restaurant offers a buffet style of dining, in a relaxed environment with alfresco and indoor seating options, and an abundance of choice on the menu.

Links Restaurant is a favourite of both locals and visitors to Launceston, and serves up the city’s best buffet dinner every Friday and Saturday night. The buffet offers an all-you-can-eat experience, including soup, seafood, a wide selection of hot dishes, salad bar and roast meat options served by our Chefs. There is also a decadent selection of desserts that’s an ever-popular choice for families!

    We had the buffet breakfast for the first time today. We are a family of 6 and it was fantastic. We love trying local cafe's for breakfasts and this far outdid other local breakfasts. We will most definitely be back. The variety and value for money is something to tell others about. The staff working were all extremely friendly as well.

    Staff were great, however the buffet was terrible, except for the fries, and the kids meal that was cooked for my child

    Sadly this restaurant goes from bad to worse each time we revisit, with a belief they may have lifted their standards. Food quality is poor, in potato capital of Australia,, having a potato salad made up of dry and boring chats, with the hot potato dish just as bad. No sauces of any description mayo, sour cream, tomato, thousand island). Dessert buffet very plain, with churros having an old oil taste. Sadly, the best part of the meal was the glasses of coke, which st $5.50 each are a bit on the expensive side. Sadly, this property appears to be in constant free fall, maybe if the owners took at this from a customers perspective they may have a change in fortune.

    Food was lovely. Plenty of gluten-free options and well labelled accordingly. Staff always attentive, friendly and pleasant. Thankyou for a great lunch!

    Since we were staying at Country Club, we decided to dine at Links. Good choice. We were greeted and seated in a very timely manner. We had several lovely and attentive servers. The food choices were good, fresh and plentiful. The only issue would have been the carvery...fairly meagre pickings were offered. I realise going back was an option but I chose not to due to the line up. The waiting lines tend to be very long and slow, especially early on but this does even out. Quite an enjoyable evening.

    We went to a 7.30 seating, food was fresh and served well, great choices for both main and sweets, our only negative was the drinks service, the qr code link had some different drinks to the printed menu, but as we'd waited for quite a while for orders to be taken, 2 out of 4 guests had to order alternative to preferred drinks, I understand that they had a very big table booked, we also had to wait a while for drinks to come out, that was our only negative. We had a really nice view, seated by the windows. The service crew were friendly.
