Housed in a shipping container behind Platform Two of the old Folkestone Harbour Station, Little Rock is a spectacular new beachside restaurant just off the boardwalk before the entrance to Folkestone Harbour Arm. Explore the stunning indoor and outdoor dining spaces. Proud to serve fresh, local and seasonal fish and seafood, supplied straight from the day boats operating out of Folkestone Harbour and the surrounding Hythe Bay area.

    Little Rock is a short walk away from the large Folkestone Harbour Arm car park. This is on the site of the old harbour port and currently costs £3.40 for up to 2 hours and then £1.70 per hour for up to 8 hours. All day parking (over 8 hours) costs £14. Prices subject to change.

    The nearest train station is Folkestone Central. Little Rock is approximately a 25-minute walk following signs for Folkestone Harbour Arm.There is a bus stop at the bottom of the Old High Street serviced by Stagecoach buses 72, 100, 101 and 102. Folkestone’s main bus station is in the centre of town, approximately a 15 minute walk away.

    Food was excellent, I especially enjoyed the sides, roasted veg and tenderstem broccoli which were cooked to perfection. Service was also excellent, team were very observant and the wait time was minimal. The restaurant is nice and cozy especially on a cold windy winters day, my only issue with the space is that as a hearing aid wearer the acoustics in the restaurant are really loud and difficult ( sounds like being underwater in a metal bath🤣 ) I guess that's because it's a converted shipping container and there's not a lot of soft furnishings to soak up the sound, however, the quality of the food and overall experience makes it bearable.

    This restaurant stood out as one of the best we've visited due to its outstanding overall experience. The food was v. Good; we shared the seafood paella, which was not only very tasty but also quite filling especially after the yummy mushroom starter and popcorn mussels. The staff were friendly and attentive. Additionally, the atmosphere was nice, and the location by the beach was lovely.

    Some of the best cooking I have experienced. Michelin standard food in a relaxed location. And very fresh fish!

    Food was delicious and the most fancy fish and chips we have eaten, the fish soup was delish. we were stuck behind a pillar so didn't see any views, we had good conversation so it didn't really matter. Food and wine was expensive, which I didn't mind however I did mind the 10% service charge sneakily put on the bill. Asked them to remove which they did as it wasn't compulsory .. did leave a bad taste in my mouth considering the food was so nice.

    Got vouchers for here for my birthday as had been wanting to visit for a while. Planned a Sunday lunch for a nice treat. The food was absolutely amazing! A real little gem right on the seafront, so beautiful views. Our waitress was very attentive. We had a really lovely time.

    The restaurant was freezing so despite having a nice meal, food was great but hard to enjoy when it was so cold due to a broken door. If I’d known I’d have worn warmer clothing.

    I booked this for my daughter and 2 daughter in laws for my daughter’s birthday. Food was amazing Service fantastic Quality excellent Kasha was the most attentive waitress/server I have had the pleasure of being looked after from. An asset to the company
