   One of the worst experiences of Iftar that I have had in a very long time I’m not usually the one to share or like to write bad reviews but I cannot help myself because it was absolutely horrendous to have this experience at a five star luxury brand in the palm. I was celebrating my seventh year anniversary with my husband and my two year old daughter. There was no acknowledgment of this, even though I had mentioned it in the booking comments and to the lady who had called me 12:19pm to reconfirm the booking. I had also asked her if there are vegetarian options and she informed me that there are plenty vegetarian and vegan options and however, if there is something that is not suitable for I can place an order and the chef would be happy to oblige. She specified Paneer Tikka, Dal Makhani, Jeera Rice and Roti / Paratha - I am sure you can verify this if your calls are recorded. It did seem like at the first instance that there were vegetarian options however when I went for the main course things has changed - Baby potatoes had changed to big cubes of potatoes, stir fried had changed to boiled broccoli with cauliflower and fried rice was almost burnt chilli garlic rice as well as Umm Ali was over with no signs of refilling. When my daughter wanted ice cream - Vanilla was not possible so we had to settle for chocolate or strawberry. When I asked the waiter if Chef can prepare some vegetarian options, he said he will get the chef. 20 minutes into the meal there was no signs of the chef and we had to ask the waiter again, he said I am not responsible to prepare any dishes if the Chef has not come, I can escort you to the Chef. When we went to Chef he said nothing is possible except Falafel and we got a frozen fried plate of 8 falafels which is a starter and not a main course. Please feel free to check, we were seated at table 133 outside. I could’ve really ignored all of this had anyone even acknowledged or wished us that we were celebrating our anniversary

   Wide variety of food, restaurant ambience is amazing, very quiet and romantic place with an outdoor seating. Staff are great and provided great customer service.

   The selection from the various buffet stations was great, salad station and desserts being exceptionally varied and delicious. However, the grilled protein station, although a good selection, was very disappointing - incomplete order, undercooked chicken and over-cooked calamari. The service was attentive and, post complaining about the food received from the grill, the head chef was very apologetic - even brought us a custom chocolate plate to pacify our disappointment. Would I go back again, probably not as the highlight should have been the main course- which is a pity as the rest of the food was good and the hotel an amazing experience.

   Very responsive team- right from making the reservation till we were seated on the booking date. The buffet spread was quite good and very well managed by the attentive staff on site. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to my friends and family.

   Thanks, should be more attention to desserts. Boy all food are super delicious and fresh.
